Writer & Investigative Journalist

Kacie holds an MS in Journalism from Northwestern University, specializing in Social Justice Journalism & Media Law. Her journalism and creative writing are featured in nonprofit newsrooms and publications across the nation, including Pulitzer Prize winning outlets.

Born and raised in East Tennessee, Kacie currently lives in Chicago with her fiancée and their two cats (with frequent trips back to Appalachia). When she's not writing, reporting, or teaching AP English Language, she's most likely out with friends, getting (another) tattoo, or chasing around her nieces and nephew.  ​
