Writer & Investigative Journalist

Kacie holds a MS in Journalism from Northwestern University,  specializing in Social Justice Journalism & Media Law. Her work has been recognized by Cosmopolitan, The Chicago Reader, American Documentary Film Festival, Charlotte Lit, Scholastic, Writers of the Future, The Write Launch, Flash Fiction North, and more. She also teaches AP English Language and Honors English. Born and raised in East Tennessee, she currently lives in Chicago. She is a proud auntie and a painter, most likely to be found out with friends.
